When Cat asks what word comes to mind when she says "birth," FEAR and MYSTERIOUS come up more often than EXCITEMENT and JOY.  Time for a perspective change! After 3 hospital births her own, working as a doula in 10 different area hospitals, and teaching childbirth education for a major area hospital - Cat decided that it was time that women switch FEAR and MYSTERIOUS with EMPOWERING and SUPPORTED.  With this in mind, she uses her knowledge of the birth process coupled her experiences with hospital routines to demystify childbirth so that women and their partners feel prepared for their time laboring in hospital.  In this workshop we discuss the birth process in depth and answer questions like "When do we go to the hospital?" and "What happens when we get there?" If you are birthing in a hospital, come join us for this not to missed class!
